Thanks to its thickness and internal reinforcement, Lucioli can be used at as low as 4 PSI air pressure it construction comes with two in mold rim locks to prevent the unit to move inside of the tire. Rear Lucioli:
Road with good traction: 9 PSI
Mixed Enduro Terrain: 6 PSI
Hard Enduro Terrain: 4 PSI
Remove all current rim tape (they are not intended for use with enduro rims)
Aline lucioli Air valve and existing rim lock hole in the rim to get ready to drill hole for 2nd Rim Lock
Drill 8MM Hole for 2nd Rim Lock
Install Lucioli into the Rim
Inflate lucioli to 8 PSI
Tight rim locks until the inmold rim lock get the rim shape
Get tha air pressure back to 0 PSI
Lubricate the inner diameter with a non-aggressive agent (Petroleum jelly it works wi water and soap)
Insert Lucioli into the tire
Insert the lucioli valve and rim locks
Using tire lever, push the last rim lock into the hole (also from the inside)
CAUTION: Be gentle when using the levers preventing to cut the chambers near rim locks
Inflate to min. 8 PSI and tighten the bolt (important: maximum torque 10nm)
Go back to desire PSI for riding.
Check Rim Lock and air pressure before any ride.
Recommendation for use
• Please open your Lucioli as soon as they arrive, to return it to its original shape (it is shipped folded).
• For all off-road aplications, we recommend always using 2 rim locks/ safety bolts (do not cut any of them) •Drill standard 8 mm to get the 2nd rim lock aligned clean the hole for ease of insertion of the valve and rim locks • A rim strip is not necessary
